Every year we welcome hundreds of groups of all sizes to Port Sunlight and can offer a range of packages to help you get the most from your visit.

What can groups see and do?

  • Delve into the history of this unique village at Port Sunlight Museum and step back in time inside the Edwardian Worker’s Cottage
  • Join a guided walking tour to discover the unique story of Port Sunlight
  • Admire the beautiful houses and buildings which reflect nearly every period of British architecture
  • Explore the stunning parkland and gardens around the village, including the picturesque Dell and renowned rose garden along the Diamond
  • Visit the world-class collection of fine and decorative art at Lady Lever Art Gallery, part of National Museums Liverpool

A picture-perfect location

Located on the Wirral between Chester (30 mins by car) and Liverpool (20 mins by car), the village is an ideal place for groups to explore. The village is also well-connected to public transport with two train stations, Port Sunlight and Bebington, which are both served by regular Merseyrail services.

Visiting in a coach

We offer extensive free coach parking, easy drop-off and pick-up points, and disabled access throughout.

Groups can enjoy a guided tour from their own vehicle to discover beautiful architecture, picturesque gardens and parks, and impressive monuments.

Food and drink

There are several places to eat and drink in Port Sunlight. From traditional tea rooms and a comfortable pub to takeaway treats on the Museum Green, you can find our recommendations here.

Booking your visit

Once you know your preferred dates and how many people are in your group, all you need to do is simply contact us.  A deposit is required to secure each group booking – we accept payment by credit/debit card or cheque. If you need to cancel we need a minimum of 48 hours notice.
