Port Sunlight is nestled between Liverpool and Chester, near to the M53, and close to mainline and local railway and bus services.
Transport information
By car
If you are travelling from Liverpool, use the Birkenhead (Queensway) tunnel then follow the signs. From elsewhere, leave the M53 at junction 5 and follow the signs for Port Sunlight Village.
Parking is free in Port Sunlight. The visitor car park is outside Port Sunlight Museum. Visitors to The Port Sunlight Experience are encouraged to park here and walk the short distance to SoapWorks.
By bike
There’s plenty of bike routes around the village and wider area. Take a look at these routes around the village here.
By rail
The nearest local stations are Bebington and Port Sunlight on the Chester/Ellesmere Port to Liverpool lines (Wirral line).
By bus
There are a number of options including:
464 bus to Bebington Road (from Sir Thomas St in Liverpool)
38 bus to Bebington railway station (runs between Clatterbridge Hospital and West Kirby station)
