Blow Your Own Trumpet

As a result of feedback from Port Sunlight residents, the Trust has begun to organise more dedicated resident events over the last few years. ‘Blow Your Own Trumpet!’ is a good example and was first introduced back in 2014 as part of the village’s 125th Anniversary programme.

Blow Your Own Trumpet is a celebration of community spirit in Port Sunlight and is an opportunity to showcase some of the fantastic work that is being done by our own residents. At last year’s event, we had short talks on the River Park, Port Sunlight Boys Brigade, health and wellbeing, and the residents’ consultation group.

We are now looking for residents to speak at this year’s event in July. Do you know any community champions who you feel are making a significant contribution to village life? Blow Your Own Trumpet will take place on the evening of Thursday 18^th August at the Lyceum on Bridge Street. All residents are invited but places are limited. Please RSVP to Dan no later than Monday 8th August on [email protected] or call 0151 644 4800. Refreshments will be provided.
