Christmas Craft & Create Workshops for Adults

11am-1pm | Pay by donation | Church Hall, Bridge Street

Friday 1st December: Learn how to transform old dolly pegs into decorative soldiers and fairies.

Friday 8th December: Make your own fabric snowman to add to your decorations at home.

Friday 15th December: It’s nearly time for gift-giving, so come and create special wrapping using textiles.

Christmas Make & Take Workshop for Families

Saturday 9th December, 10am & 11.30am | £3.50 per child | Church Hall

Whip up your very own Christmas tree ornaments and festive tree paper wreaths to take home. Pre-booking required.

Adults go free and don’t need a ticket.

An Edwardian Christmas in the Worker’s Cottage

Step inside the Edwardian Worker’s Cottage this December to marvel at magical decorations throughout its time capsule rooms. You can also enjoy demonstrations by our costumed Edwardian resident on selected days between 10am-4.30pm, including:

Thursday 30th November: Rag rug making

Thursday 7th December: Edwardian Christmas card making

Thursday 21st December: Edwardian festive decorations

Christmas Walking Tour & Workshop

Thursday 14th December, 10.30am | £15 | Meet at Port Sunlight Museum

Enjoy a wintery tour of Port Sunlight led by a knowledgeable guide to discover the history of the village including tales of Christmases past. The 90-minute tour will end at Port Sunlight Museum, where you’ll take part in a special workshop to create a gilded walnut diorama. Delicious mince pies and hot drinks are included.

Winter Adventures in Port Sunlight Trail

From Friday 1st December | Trail packs £2 each, available from Port Sunlight Museum

Join Pip the Penguin on a winter family adventure with this fun, self-led trail around the village. Includes trail booklet, eraser and pencil.


Storytime and Crafts with Father Christmas

Saturday 16th December, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm | £6.50 per child | Bridge Cottage

For one day only, the man in red himself is taking up residence at Bridge Cottage, one of Port Sunlight’s most enchanting houses. Bring your little ones to enjoy an hour of tales of Father Christmas’s time on the Wirral followed by fun crafts with his festive helpers.

Adults go free and don’t need a ticket.


Christmas Carols with the Lyceum Brass Band

Friday 22nd December, 4pm | The Boating Pond

A festive Port Sunlight tradition. Join the community to hear Christmas Carols performed in the heart of the village by the wonderful Lyceum Brass Band. Arrive from 3.30pm when we will be joined by special guests. Mule Coffee will also be on hand selling hot drinks and treats.

Our monthly drop-in sessions are open to all and run in partnership with Christ Church URC.

Tuesday 5th December: Come and enjoy some festive activities or relax with a cuppa.
