PSVT’s Covid-19 Safety Measures for Visitors to our Attractions

We’re Good To Go

Port Sunlight Village Trust has been awarded the We’re Good To Go UK mark to signal that we have worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and have a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. Our safety measures include:

  • Our staff and volunteers will wear a facemask at all times indoors, unless they are exempt
  • We encourage all visitors to wear facemasks, especially indoors, but we will not insist upon it
  • We provide ‘Clean Hands’ kits for all visitors to enable safe interaction with our exhibits
  • We have an on-line ticketing hub for visitors wishing to pre-book tickets
  • Visitor numbers are reduced at all our visitor attractions, including Port Sunlight Museum, the Edwardian Worker’s Cottage, SoapWorks and the Church Hall to maintain two-metre social distancing
  • Our admissions points are positioned to ease congestion inside venues
  • Audio-equipment is used on our walking and coach tours to enable social-distancing and provide the best possible experience
  • It is no longer compulsory for visitors to use the Contact Tracing and Venue Check-in Apps, however we will continue to encourage visitors to do so
  • Hand sanitising stations are positioned at regular intervals throughout our attractions and there’s plenty of Covid-19 safety signage
  • Staff and volunteers carry out regular cleaning of our visitor attractions and exhibits, and we provide closed bins for disposing of PPE
  • Staff regularly review risk assessments for all areas of the visitor experience, and keep up to date with Government and industry guidelines, and introduce new safety measures as and when required
