Family visits

Port-Sunlight-122

There’s lots for our younger visitors to do and see in Port Sunlight. The museum has hands-on activities, and exploring the worker’s cottage is a very engaging way to experience history.

Now based in the village’s historic school room The Lyceum, SoapWorks is an interactive family experience designed to encourage more children to engage with the STEM subjects and have fun learning about the science of soap and its life-saving properties!

There are plenty of green spaces and parkland in the village for a good run around, or you can grab a picnic with the food and drink vendors based on our Museum Green available throughout the week.

The wide flat roads make it easy to explore Port Sunlight with a pushchair and there are plenty of benches for rest stops.

Our Museum Green is now home to mobile tasty treats for the whole family every Wednesday to Sunday. Take a seat on the deck chairs and for a selection of drinks, cakes and biscuits and the best coffee check out Espresso Eccellente’s van and for the best ice cream, Lief, has the most delicious selection of flavours. Keep an eye on our social media for daily updates.
