The minimum fee for this is £20 per hour, up to a maximum of 5 hours, which must be paid in advance of visit. A minimum of one hour's research will be given, if further research is required, you can request longer periods in half hour units at £10 per unit.

In order for us to assist your search, please provide as much information and detail as possible on the nature of the enquiry. A brief 'free of charge' assessment will be made at point of contact, to check the feasibility of the search.

The results of the research will be sent in the form of a written report, which will include photocopy charges and a Copyright Declaration Form, which must be returned before the photocopies are sent out.

Please note - we do not hold Lever Brothers employees records, or past tenants records. However, village births, deaths and marriages are recorded in Progress and Port Sunlight News publications.

PORT SUNLIGHT MUSEUM SOCIAL HISTORY COLLECTION

Port Sunlight Museums social history collection is also available for viewing by appointment only and under supervision.

The Museum actively acquires historical items, and donations of relevant items are always most welcome.

Please contact the Collections Officer if you own any objects you wish to donate, which are relevant to the village history, which you think would improve and enhance our collection.

I look forward to hearing from you.
