Group Visits
For groups, the best way to get the most out of a visit to Port Sunlight Museum & Garden Village is by booking one of our Package Deals. Package Deals cater for a wide selection of group numbers, interests and budgets.
Package deals
There are three types of package deal for pre-booked group visits, depending on budget and the amount of time you have to spend in the village.
1. Port Sunlight Museum Package
Groups of 10 people or more wishing to visit Port Sunlight Museum pay a reduced admission price of £2.50. Ideally each group should allow forty minutes to fully enjoy the exhibitions experience which explores Lever's vision, the founding of the village, the architecture, soap-making, and village life. It also includes the film 'Sunlight Spirit' which highlights six characters that lived and worked in the village.
2. Village Tour Package
We offer guided walking tours and bus tours of the village. The cost of a walking tour depends on the size of your group and the duration of the tour. Please contact Visitor Services for more information. For bus tours, one of our guide's will board your vehicle and give your group a one hour circular tour of the village, beginning and ending outside Port Sunlight Museum. The cost of a pre-booked guided tour of the village is £50.00.
3. The Full Package Deal
This option combines package deals one and two - a visit to Port Sunlight Museum and a guided tour of the village. Your group will enjoy approximately 40 minutes in the Museum, 15 minutes in our well-stocked gift shop, and a one hour guided tour aboard your bus. Plus each member of this type package deal will receive a tablet of Sunlight Soap to keep as a memento of their day.
Prices for the Full Package Deal are as follows:
20 + - £3.75 per person
30 + - £3.50 per person
40 + - £3.37 per person
50 + - £3.30 per person
60 + - £3.25 per person
Regardless of the package deal you have booked, each group will receive the following benefits:
FREE entry into the Museum for group leaders prior to visit (max 2 persons)
FREE entry into Museum for the coach driver
£10.00 off second group booking made and carried out in 2010

Edwardian Tea Rooms
The Edwardian Tea Rooms is located above Port Sunlight Museum, accessed by stairs or lift. Open daily 10.30am - 4.00pm with last orders taken at 3.30pm.
Served by costumed waitresses, this taste of times gone by with authentic decor and a wide selection of homemade cakes, scones, soups and elegant finger sandwiches, is the ultimate treat to enhance your day.
Coach Parties are cated for with prior arrangement due to limited seating. To make a booking please call Port Sunlight Museum 0151 644 6466 and ask to be transferred to the Tearoom, staff will be more than happy to help you.
