Events Guide 2010

Port Sunlight Museum puts on a variety of indoor and outdoor events throughout the year for adults and children, residents and visitors.

Sunday 4 April - 11 - 4pm - Easter Adventure in Port Sunlight Village. Meet Bertie Porter and friends in the Dell. Take part in craft activities in the Lyceum, make a chick or a bunny, then take the vintage bus over to Port Sunlight Museum, enjoy free entry as part of the ticket offer.

£5.00 per child, (includes vintage bus ride to and from Easter Trail, completing the trail, making a chick or bunny, free entry into museum, receive a small gift on handing in the trail, and be entered into the BIG prize draw for Easter Goody prizes!

Also available on the day, traditional childrens rides. (small charge applies).

 

Saturday 15 May 6.30pm start. Night at the Museum, torch lit tours of the village & museum. Groups split into two will enjoy an evening of spooky entertainment with a guided village tour, museum tour and refreshments in the Edwardian Tea Rooms.

 

National Jam Week - Come along and enjoy Aftetnoon Tea on the lawn opposite Port Sunlight Museum, enjoy light entertainment plus refreshments available on the day. Further details to be confirmed.

 

Sunday 25 July - Port Sunlight Village Festival, last year over 10,000 visitors attended, this year aims to be even better! Free entry event, with a full day of entertainment and family activities throughout the village.

 

September - Founders Day, celebrating the life of William Hesketh Lever

 

November - Halloween, spooky goings on in the village

 

December - Christmas Gourmet Festival, a fantastic event not to be missed.
